”My stomach is the only critic that tells me whether to finish a piece or throw it away. When I show the work to the public, that’s when I know it’s good, even at the risk of being challenged by all the “critics.”
What drives you?
Human intelligence and human stupidity, especially my own.
Both motivate me in different ways…
All of them are my children…
I’d rather say – all of them are my orgasms…
What else do you do?
Besides paying bills and other everyday, trivial things, I passionately engage in playing music, cooking, having meaningful conversations, occasional writing, graphic design, sculpting, and creating short video/animation pieces… For one life, especially this remaining part – that’s enough.

What should an artist possess – qualities and skills?
An idea!
Criticism? Who or what can influence your work… its presentation?
My gut is the only critic that tells me whether to finish a work or throw it away. When I show it to the public, then I’m sure it’s good, even if all the “critics” dispute it (confidentially, I also have a few honest friends whose opinions I value…).
Who is your superhero? Who are today’s superheroes?
All people who, in this devastated society, manage to keep their smile, humanity, and dignity…
What does isolation mean to you?
A natural state. The word “isolation” is a pleonasm for an artist.

What good can come out of this situation?
It may sound cliché, but perhaps people will be able to hear themselves a little better. To dust off some important, forgotten, humane qualities that the corporate-consumer-social-media philosophy has taken away or imposed. Maybe people will finally manage to find a translation for the words—humility and gratitude.
Bike or sand?
By bike to the sand…
Are you vegan or vegetarian?
Occasionally… and more and more…
Beer or wine?
Wine.

Do you recycle?
Sometimes, a little… I support it.
Book / Film?
A good book. A good film.
And music…?
Pat Metheny… the album Secret Story. And a whole lot more with a touch of melancholy and intelligence…
