Through his minimalist approach to design, Bogdanov creates images that communicate strong emotions while simultaneously leaving room for universal interpretation.
Having studied at the Faculty of Philosophy in Novi Sad, the artist draws part of his inspiration from the philosophy of Emil Cioran, using his work to explore and deepen questions about the complexity of human suffering.
„Act Accordingly“ is the first solo exhibition of Nemanja Bogdanov. The exhibition invites reflection on societal expectations and the act of fulfilling them. Each work is a puzzle with multiple answers, depending on the viewer. If rebellion can be defined as questioning authority, this exhibition offers the artist’s vision of rebellion.
He lives and works in Novi Sad with his girlfriend Nina and their cat Jinx.
