”Isolation has so far been my own choice and desire—to withdraw, to work, or simply to think—but now it is taking on a new meaning.”
All of them are my children…
I used to be emotionally attached to my works, but now not so much. I’m happy when they go to a new owner, and also at the thought that they might hang somewhere on a wall.
What else do you do?
I have been professionally working in photography for 20 years, as well as in design, drawing, and painting.
What should an artist possess…
I think it’s individual. An artist can be occasionally hardworking or lazy, sometimes spontaneous, sometimes disciplined. Creative, innovative, original… and sometimes just lucky is enough.
Critique – who influences your work?
I am mostly influenced by other artists—friends whose works and art I admire.

What does isolation mean to you?
Until now, isolation for me was my own choice and desire to be alone, to work, or just to think, but now it has gained a new meaning. Maybe like being locked up.
What good can come out of this situation?
Nothing.
Do you have a TV at home?
I have one, but without an antenna. It’s used for watching Netflix and for PlayStation.
Do you listen to the radio?
Only in the car.
Bicycle or sand?
Bicycle.

Vegan or vegetarian?
Neither.
Beer or wine?
Rakija (fruit brandy).
Do you recycle?
I must admit with regret that I don’t. But I regularly take out the trash.
Book?
The last one I liked was the novel A Man Called Ove.
