What else do you do?
Besides my professional obligations, I spend time with people who are important to me and engage in many other activities, which, unfortunately, I cannot currently do due to the circumstances we are in.
What should an artist possess, in terms of qualities and skills?
I believe an artist should be well-informed, have their own stance, not pander to others, and their art should not be dictated by commercial demands or market pressures.
It is also important to be present and active, but not at the cost of having to present every new artistic project just for the sake of continuity. The work should be enriched by a clear understanding of the fundamental purpose of art – to seek and give more.
Criticism? Who or what can influence your work… the presentation of your work?
At the moment we present our work, a connection with the world is established and we face criticism. This is yet another part of the process of further developing our art. I believe criticism is important, but not decisive for the presentation of the work. Who is your superhero? Who are today’s superheroes?
I don’t have one. I believe in the brave, the determined, and the empathetic.
What does isolation mean to you?
Deprivation that I try to turn into an advantage.
What good can come out of this situation?
I believe we will learn to adapt to the changes that are coming and not return to old and unacceptable dogmas. Perhaps the uncertainty we are living in now contributes to the quality of the choices of content we will dedicate ourselves to in the future.
