**How many times have we heard that a black hole could swallow us up?**

But what if, instead of a hole, it turns out to be a giant black pipe?

In this somewhat unsettling series of drawings, Vladimir Sekulić captures moments where everyday life intersects with the absurd. After all, who could have imagined wedding tents being erected in front of the National Assembly? Or a “FOR RENT” billboard appearing on the building of the Government of Serbia? Or that the Museum of Contemporary Art—already considered by many as something “nobody understands”—might one day become a public parking lot?

At a time when our reality is increasingly contaminated by elements of banal fantasy, when things that were once deemed impossible suddenly become possible before our very eyes, Vladimir Sekulić emerges as an archivist of social abnormality. His engagement is neither explicit nor transparent; rather, it takes the form of social criticism conveyed indirectly. The anomalies he depicts are not openly named or condemned in a pamphleteering manner. Instead, through their strangeness, they make us more aware of them while looking at his drawings than when we encounter them in reality.
