The exhibition presents sixteen drawings created over the past three years, as well as a spatial installation, which leads us into the new cycle of works “Zašto ne veruješ mojim lažima” (Why Don’t You Believe My Lies).

The portrayal of Ivana’s heroine and the text accompanying the image point to the ambivalence that is recognized precisely in the friction between strength and vulnerability. The compositions, as well as the titles, suggest alienation and allude to various impossibilities of communication. At the same time, the presence of natural, non-human elements, such as trees or Dobermans, as well as the crown made of horns worn by the female figure, point to her connection and intimacy with nature. These impulses presented in the work hint at a return of hope in the possibility of establishing balance in the disturbed equilibrium of the modern individual.
