On Monday, September 5th at 7 PM, the exhibition “Realno virtualno” will open at Dorćol Platz. The exhibition features 40 young visual artists from Serbia, both established and those just starting their careers. During the opening night, the music will be played by Sergej Krstić and Danilo Kas.
In May 2021, visitors first accessed a digital exhibition with over 20 artworks via two Instagram filters for augmented reality – after just over a year and more than 100,000 accesses to the virtual exhibition, the number of filters and artworks will be doubled as the project is materialized in Dorćol Platz as a physical exhibition.
The creators of the concept, Vanja Ratković and Martina Kojić, designed this format inspired by the challenge of avoiding mass gatherings in enclosed spaces during the pandemic, as well as the growing trend of transferring the tangible into binary code, which allows for the democratization of access to the exhibition.
Therefore, participants were chosen among artists who already present their works in digital formats and who regularly use social media as a way of interacting with the audience. Most of the artworks are available for purchase through direct contact with the authors.
The exhibition includes works by: Aleksandar Denić, Anastasia Tasić, Andreja Krstić – Chenipe, Anđela Abramović, Anka Arsenić, Borjan Grujić, Vladimir Živojinović, Vuk Đurić – Endo, Vanja Vikalo – Linnch, Goran Popovski, Das Drogen, Dejan Ivanović – Wuper Kec, Dušan Lilić, Dušan Rajić – Dulait, Emilija Terzić, Igor Balać, Igor Jocić – Unkerica, Jasmina Zornić, Jovan Savić – JOBAH, Katarina Jovičić, Luka Cako, Marija Stanković, Marko Petković – Kobi, Mila Kuzmančević, Milija Čpajak, Milica Đoković, Olga Đelošević, Natalija Palurović – Iskra Zauvek, Nataša Mihailović, Sandra Grbić, Srđa Dragović, Stefan Dodić, Stefan Stanojević – Tony Star, Stefan Ćirić – Tearzdrop, Tina Danilović, and Witty Wow.
The exhibition, which will be open until Monday, September 12th, is divided into four categories – day, night, dawn, and dusk. You can access the artworks through Instagram filters via the account Keks za konja, and additional information about the works and the artists can be found on the website Popino prase. At the opening, visitors will also hear the premiere of the EP Changes, the debut production release by DJ Dee in collaboration with the record label Headroom, which features three tracks.
The exhibition is supported by the Čugura print printing house and the Soundwave DJ equipment rental agency.
