“Mislim da će ipak kiša” is a series of paintings depicting urban landscapes, with the main theme being the alienation and misalignment of humans in the contemporary world. The achromatic, geometrically precise tones, as well as the aggressive brushstrokes, reflect the reality of modern lifestyle. The daily life of a modern person, in which each of us finds ourselves in one way or another, is hectic and dull, while at the same time melancholic and lonely. The paintings portray a frozen moment in a journey along highways, bridges, and airport runways. A moment that seems to last forever, in which there is no clear beginning or end to the journey, much like in a dream.
The exhibition will be open from May 31st to June 12th, 2022.
