Maja has visited almost all of India, and this journey and coexistence with the country spanned 8 years. Thanks to her love for and knowledge of photography, she managed to preserve the images from this years-long journey, keeping them intact in their form, landscape, and light.
Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Kashmir, Sikkim, West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha… await you, in all their colors! On this occasion, during the exhibition opening, visitors will enjoy Indian dance, kirtan, and Indian food. The project was realized in collaboration with the Embassy of India.
Maja Vujošević (1985) is a master’s degree holder in banking by profession, and a photographer by passion and vocation, a versatile observer of the world, a resident of the Danube coast in Belgrade, and dedicated to yoga and vegan catering. Her first solo exhibition was in Nicosia, Cyprus, in 2012, and she won the first prize for photography at the “Nature Without Censorship” exhibition in 2019. She has traveled through 11 countries in Asia and participated in various photo shoots in Bali, Thailand, and elsewhere.
The exhibition will be open from 6th May to 10th May 2022.
